A Dominica Passport Program established in 1993 and states that anyone makes an economic contribution or purchases a property can become a Dominican citizen.
The Dominica Passport Program is provided for in Article 101 of the Regulation and Articles 8 and 20 of the country’s Constitution. The legislation was amended on December 1, 2016 and is provided for in Article 38 of the legislation.
A Dominica passport is obtained in an average of 6 months and without the need for residency before or after citizenship and without renouncing your first citizenship, making it a great option for those who want to maintain their lifestyle while enjoying a powerful Dominica’s passport.
The Dominica Passport offers by a beautiful Caribbean island called the Commonwealth of Dominica and its capital, Roseau, which is famous for its Carbolonian architecture dating back to the 18th century. Dominica was a British colony but gained independence in 1978 and then joined the British Commonwealth.
Dominica uses the Dominican Peso (DOP) as its currency and English as its official language, with French being the most common. Dominica’s economy is based on agriculture, tourism and financial services.
Dominica is known as the Nature Island and is famous for its pristine nature, which includes green mountains, white and black sand beaches, stunning rivers and waterfalls.
The Commonwealth of Dominica should not be confused with the Dominican Republic, as the former is located in the West Indies and its language is English, while Dominican is located in the Greater Antilles and its official language is Spanish.
The Dominica Passport Program offers you many benefits when you obtain it, most notably the ability to enter more than 145 countries without a visa. Learn about the other benefits of Dominica citizenship by clicking on the link.
