Access to India with Saint Lucia citizenship by investment

Processing of India e-Visa applications for Saint Lucia Ordinary Passport holders is now completed within 72 hours. But before that, obtaining the visa for holders of diplomatic and official passports of Saint Lucia had to be done through postal services which had to be transported to the Embassy of India in Paramaribo within a period of up to 30 days.
Under the new agreement, expenses and waiting times for Saint Lucian citizens will be reduced to the greatest extent. Diplomatic and official passport holders and students receiving ITEC scholarships to study in India are the biggest beneficiaries.
This agreement was witnessed by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Guillaume Simon, and other senior officials in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and this step greatly increases the strength of Saint Lucia’s diplomatic relations with India in particular and the status of Saint Lucia’s citizenship among the rest of the world in general.
Saint Lucia’s investments with India and rest of the world
Last year, Saint Lucia implemented a tax inspectors’ program in partnership with India. It is an initiative supported by the United Nations Development Program and the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, and was launched in December 2023.
